Typhoons Talim and Doksuri Threaten Asian Coastlines

As of 1200 on 13 Sep two major typhoons are threatening the Japanese (Talim) and the Vietnamese (Doksuri) coast.

Talim is projected as a Cat 3 event and Doksuri as a Cat 1 event.  Updates maintained at https://aaverde.com. Typhoon Talim is forecast to make a severe eastward turn before making landfall on the Chinese mainland.  If current projections hold, severe flooding will outage power and water systems as far north as Osaka impacting more than 50 million homes. Typhoon Doksuri is threatening landfall in Viet Nam near Phuong Trong Thi potentially impacting more than 10 million homes with winds greater than 64 kts and severe flooding.
