Tropical Storm Chris

As of 1200 on July 9, 2018,  Tropical Storm Chris is located about 215 miles SSE of Cape Hatteras, NC with maximum winds of 50kts. Tropical Storm force winds extend to the North Carolina Coast. Chris is nearly stationary and very little movement is expected over the next 24hrs during which it is expected to strengthen to a Category 1 Hurricane.  The center will remain off the Eastern Coast until the storm goes subtropical with landfall expected in the Canadian Maritimes with winds from 30-50 kts.  Monitor developments at www.almeriaanalytics.com/blog.
