Oct 28 status of Typhoon Saolo

As of 1200 on Oct 28, Typhoon Saolo is located over the island of Naha and is on a track similar to Typhoon Lan earlier this month. Forecast wind intensities show that greater than fifty knot winds will reach the southern prefectures of Japan and bring flooding to Eastern Tokyo. At landfall approximately 84 million people reside in the impact zones and forecasts that about 7 million customers may lose power.  The population distribution as displayed at aaverde.com.
