Hurricane Oscar forms in the Western Atlantic

As of 1200 on October 29, Hurricane Oscar formed in the Western Atlantic. Oscar’s track bears to the north and will follow a track similar to last year’s Hurricane Ophelia which landfell in Southwestern Ireland and caused more than 100,000 homes to lose power.
