HURRICANE BUD IS FORECAST TO ENTER BAJA CALIFORNIA FRIDAY

As of 1200 on June 12, 20018, Hurricane Bud is forecast to enter Baja California Friday with strong Tropical Storm force winds throughout Western Mexico.  By Saturday, the remnants will extend through New Mexico , Arizona, and Utah bringing some relief to the wildfires in the area as well as fire season relief to the deepest drought areas around the critical power transmission corridors in the Four Corners area. Significant power outages north of Hermosillo are not anticipated.
